Die weite Welt um die Ecke
Berlin hat jede Menge Überraschungen zu bieten und natürlich hab ich noch nicht alles gesehen. Darum ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass man für nur 2,10 Euro direktemang von Mitte nach Asien kommt. Nur einen Steinwurf von der Marhzahner Promenade entfernt kann man in den Gärten der Welt (Marzahn) zu Fuß von Japan nach China gehen. Im chinesischen Garten gibt es sogar ein Teehaus. Alle Themengärten sind sehr aufwendig und stilecht angelegt. Komplett mit Häusern und Tempeln. Ich hab die Gärten der Welt im Winter erswischt, mit jeder Menge Schnee.



Not that I wasn't aware of the interesting and inspiring ethnical diversity at Berlin, but at the Marzahner Garten der Welt I was completely taken aback. Just a few meters away from DDR Platte you step into a japanese, korean and chinese garden complete with houese and temples.. Like in The Secret Garden. I caught the beautiful landscape in snow.

Volle Pulle.
Kaum ist man in 2010 angekommen, geht es rasant weiter. Ich halte mich immer noch an meine Vorsätze, obwohl schon fast ein Monat rum ist und erobere neue Techniken. Am Wochenende habe ich einen Siebdruck Workshop bei Nadja von smil und bin eifrig bei der Motivfindung.

Falls Ihr es noch nicht gemerkt habt: ab heute wird der Blog zweisprachig geführt. Weitere Neuigkeiten folgen diese Woche.
Also Vollgas.


2010 is almost 30 days old and I'm still very faithful to my new resolutions: more sport, fresh air and learning new art techniques. So I'm looking forward to my screen printing workshop at smil with Nadja.

I know that I skipped last weeks thursday trash post but I'm busy producing for Holyshit. It's my last market for this season. So I hope to post very extensively next week.
And now back to the production line.

:: Christmas shopping week

Christmas shopping tour de force this week! It started with Trendmafia last weekend and will continue next weekend at Holyshit Christmas Shopping. So I'm busy working at my little factory again. The pillows and the mushroom pins were quite a success. I also made some handmade rubber stamps and used them for notebooks.
